David Nykl sent a message to Czech fan club. I am not going to translate it whole...there are the usual things. But it looks like he can´t come this year to Czech Republic :-( He said that he will be in Deggendorf 4.-6. November. Deggendorf isn´t far from Czech borders...
And the most important thing. He said that he got a script from the newest episode..."Tao of McKay"...yay, another McKay episode. I wonder if it writes Martin Gero again. I think he does and I think it´s the fourth part of McKay Quadralogy he spoke about. So...can somebody say something from the name of the episode? Because I can´t. But another episode with McKay, it´s great. There is never enough Rodney :-)

Good thing - if David got the script, then he's in the episode!

The script title is a play off the book "The Tao of Pooh", which is Taoism as told through an examination of the children's character, Winnie the Pooh.

One of the ideas of Taoism is something called "The Uncarved Block". Pooh is sort of the essence of the Uncarved Block. He's retained his simplicity, which allows him to use that simplicity and childlike viewpoint to solve problems.

The idea is that a person needs to discard things like arrogance and complexity in order to discover that life is fun, and then be able to do things spontaneously and have them work.

It's very anti-Rodney. Rodney often thinks that wisdom and knowledge are the same thing. In Taoist philosophy, they are often opposites.

A quote from the book:

"Rabbit's clever," said Pooh thoughtfully.
"Yes," said Piglet, "Rabit's clever."
"And he has Brain."
"Yes," said Piglet, "Rabbit has Brain."
There was a long silence.
"I suppose," said Pooh, "that that's why he never understands anything."

Wow, thanks. I think this episode will be very interesting if is it true. Because McKay could be very different in that. Too bad it will be next year.
